Live Updates

5.30 AM - Alexa started on time and full of energy. It was actually lighter out than we thought so no need for the torches. We saw Dola on route at Maidenhead and Alexa went off with Tom and Pippa just afterwards and headed on towards the first cheer point in Windsor. So far so good!

Alexa's Home from Home Ultramarathon Challenge

All you need to know

Alexa will be running an Ultra Marathon (56 miles) along the Thames Path on Sunday 9th June in my “Home from Home Challenge” to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH) . The money raised will ensure and support the growing need for parents and families have a place to go and rest away from the hospital. The accommodation allows families and parents to gain a sense of normality whilst their child or in some cases children are being treated for some of the rarest and most complex childhood illnesses and conditions.

Fundraising

We are aiming to raise as much money as we can for the Parent and Family Accomodation at Great Ormond Street. We have a current target of £10,000 and any donation you make will be much appreciated by both us and Great Ormond Street
